At our location in Dortmund, we have a full-time vacancy for Charge Particle Systems Designer (m/f/d) as soon as possible

Your mission

  • Design and simulation of electron and ion columns for nanostructuring and imaging
  • Design and development of technical demonstrators for functional verification of novel components and systems in close cooperation with the team members from 
     hard- ware and system development
  • Performing development projects from the idea to the product launch
  • Preparation of technical documentation
  • Implementation of employee training for knowledge 
     trans- fer
  • Occasional international travel to conferences as well as to support client applications

Your Qualifications

  • Degree in physics or equivalent
  • Experience in simulation and realization of charged 
     particle optics
  • Knowledge in vacuum/high voltage technology and 
     mechatronics is an advantage
  • Enjoying technological challenges
  • Electron beam lithography experience or SEM application knowledge is desired
  • Knowledge in project management is an advantage
  • Fluent in English, German language skills are 
     advantageous
  • High commitment, ability to work in a team and 
     communication skills
