Ad-hoc support
Phone, email, and remote
RAITH maintains a support infrastructure with experienced engineers available to address any upcoming requests. The Helpdesk can be accessed via phone and email, and often utilizes direct remote connections to the system. Even without a service contract, you can access this powerful resource.
For all customers, a complimentary 30-minute session is provided for quick issues. Additional Helpdesk support can be purchased individually or as a prepaid package.
Even RAITH systems require corrective and preventive service. If your system is in an inoperative condition and even if you don’t have a service contract, we are eager to restore your system to operational status in a reasonable time frame. To prevent unscheduled downtimes, give us a call to learn about regular maintenance and source replacements.
Systems that are regularly maintained are usually in better condition and perform more effectively. We recommend scheduling maintenance each year. The electron/ion source is subject to wear and will need replacement after a certain period. We would be glad to perform the source exchange to get your system back into good working order quickly.
In the unusual event that the system does not perform as expected or does not operate at all, RAITH is happy to help. Via remote access or an onsite visit for corrective maintenance work, we will bring the system back to standard operating condition. We operate several warehouses to ensure spare parts are available on short notice, if required.

A new lab or building
Relocation
Moving large and delicate equipment requires careful consideration of many factors. We are pleased to assist with any project of this nature and ensure a smooth transition. When you are building a new site, we provide consulting to help you create the perfect environment. We conduct a site survey at the new location to identify potential issues. Working closely with you, we establish a time schedule and manage the disassembly, transportation, and installation at the new site. Following a run-up and readjustment, you can expect the same known and experienced system performance in the new location.
We take care of all work steps and prevent surprises, ensuring you are back in operation as soon as possible. We are happy to arrange transportation, handling (forklift), insurance, packing, and all the little steps in between.
With a smooth RAITH relocation service, you can expect minimized downtime for the system move. After installation and readjustment by our experienced service engineers, you can expect reliable operation in the new environment.
