To strengthen the R&D team that develops the systems, we are looking for an all-round m/f/d Software EngineerConceptual thinker who masters the craft of software development

In this position you are responsible for developing software components for the Raith EBPG Lithography Systems.

Core tasks:

  • Independently or with the team you design software, algorithms, and visualizations for the control of the lithography systems, supervise projects (possibly at suppliers), you diagnose and qualify.
  • You draw up specifications, presentations, documentation, and test reports.
  • You make improvements, redesigns, and bug fixes in the existing software.
  • You work together in a multidisciplinary environment of R&D people, Production and Service engineers, where you continuously contribute to process improvement.
  • You gain insight into the customer's application and explain this to colleagues within the R&D department.
  • You communicate effectively and in a timely manner with internal clients and external customers.

Requested Skills:

  • University working and thinking level, education in computer science, mathematics, electronics, or physics with 3-5 years’ experience in relevant software development.
  • Customer- and service-oriented attitude, flexible with improvisational ability, broad experience.
  • Good communication skills. Good command of English is necessary.
  • Experience with C and C++, drivers, Python and/or Javascript and (Embedded) Linux.
  • Experience with VHDL is a plus.
  • Familiar with the Agile principles, Kanban, eXtreme Programming and Clean Code.
  • In addition to an extensive knowledge of software, you are also interested in technology in general.
